I don’t know about you but I am DRAINED. I have a full time job, a part time job, going back to school next month, and have two kiddos. This momma could use a break! I think a lot of us out there are in the same boat, rocking in the storm, looking for a beach to crash on. Dads! You too! There are a lot of dads out there holding it all together at home!
Come January, parents need a break. I can’t tell you how many times friends and I have said “if I could just snap my fingers and be on a beach…” So make it happen, captain! Your promotion for the beginning of the year (January is obviously to soon, but you could definitely do this in February) is to send a couple of parents away to a beach! The “Sun, Sand and Sanity” trip will give a set of parents four days on the beach in Florida, Cali, South Carolina, anywhere you can. You will pay for their flight, hotel, and food vouchers for the four days.
In order to play, the contestant has to send in a crazy story of something that actually happened in the last year. Something that nearly sent them to the looney bin. Extra points if there are pictures or video to prove this happened! We want to hear it all!
They would need to enter by filling out the form on your website. There should be a section where they can upload pics and video if they have them.
Morning show will pick a couple a morning to talk about. You can narrow it down in bracket form, have your fave of the week and take those faves into their own contest listeners can vote on, whatever way you decide to find the winner. Finalists can get a GC for a massage.
The finalists will all be posted on the website and on social media. Listeners should be involved in choosing who to win. It would be great if you could have a survey online and on socials to garner more visits to the website.
This is a great opportunity to connect with your listeners. Simply expressing you understand us parents are EXHAUSTED shows you care and want to help. Have fun with this one!
