There’s A New Moon Coming
Just like the moon, we all go through phases. If you’re in a challenging phase today, remember, it’s just a phase. There’s a new moon coming.
You’re in a slump. It happens. Your show feels stale. Your ratings dipped. You’re frustrated. This is temporary. Every personality goes through valleys. The question is: what are you doing in the valley to prepare for the next peak? Because it’s coming. Stay ready.

The Situation
As a parent, I want to make sure that my kids are safe and happy above all else. But I don’t know if I can do it.
My 16-year-old daughter got a great job. It’s in the industry she wants to be in, and she loves it. She doesn’t get paid much, has to work long hours after school and at night, and she doesn’t drive.
Plus, many nights she works until 11 or later and I’m exhausted the next day. It’s starting to affect my job and my life.
My daughter has said that she’d look for another job with more suitable hours but she loves this so much and I want her to be happy. I don’t like the idea of her riding Uber late at night, and she couldn’t really afford to pay for it anyway since she doesn’t make that much money.
This is becoming a big sacrifice. And I don’t know how to deal with it. If it were just any old job, I’d have her quit and find another one. But this is a good job for her future. What should I do?

The Provisions of Westminster Reign In Royal Power
I love this one because it’s basically an early episode of ‘Kings Behaving Badly.’ King Henry III of England kept butting heads with his barons over money and power, and the Provisions of Westminster were the compromise that came out of it — a set of legal reforms that gave ordinary folks better access to justice. Think of it as a thirteenth-century reminder that even kings eventually have to answer to somebody.

The Who Stutter Their Way Into History
The Who (Who)
Roger Daltrey claims he stuttered the vocal on ‘My Generation’ just trying to cram the words onto the beat — and accidentally invented one of rock’s most iconic deliveries. Recorded at Pye Studios in London, it stalled at No. 2 in the UK behind The Seekers, and the BBC refused to touch it for fear of offending people who stutter. Not that it mattered — the song became a generational anthem anyway. Sometimes the best accidents are the ones you can’t recreate in the studio.
