Pushing Through The Struggle
What are you struggling with right now? Push through by: 1) Get out of your routine to see the world differently, 2) Eliminate distractions and focus, 3) Commit to deeper planning and preparation.
Struggling isn’t failure. It’s feedback. It’s your brain telling you something needs to change. Don’t just power through with the same approach. Shift perspective. Get ruthlessly focused. Prepare better. The struggle is the signal. Listen to it.

Serena Williams Makes Tennis Comeback at Queen’s
Nearly four years after stepping back from professional tennis, Serena Williams is making her return to competition. The 23-time Grand Slam champion will play doubles at Queen’s, the prestigious grass-court tournament that serves as a warm-up for Wimbledon, where she’s won seven titles. Williams received a wild card invitation to compete, and while it’s unclear whether she’ll use Queen’s as a springboard to compete at Wimbledon itself, her return marks a significant moment for the sport. At 44, Williams remains one of tennis’s most dominant figures, and fans have been eager to see her back on the court. Her comeback comes at an interesting time, with the Grand Slam calendar moving forward and the grass-court season underway.

What do you say when you see a friend who had plastic surgery and looked better BEFORE they got it? And everyone knows it was a bad surgery? And the person knows it, too?
Impossible Question
The average person only has 7 of these: what are they: people they can trust.
The Situation
A bunch of us at work—well, just six—are good friends. We go out to lunches together and just have fun both at work and outside of work.
A few months ago, we started a text group to stay in touch by group chat. It was fun, and mostly we used it to make fun of coworkers or the workplace, and occasionally to plan lunch or happy hour meetings.
A couple of weeks ago, I noticed the chat was dead. Nobody was messaging. I didn’t think much of it for a couple of days. So then I sent a message to get it started again by suggesting lunch. Only a couple of people responded, and both said they couldn’t make it. No big deal, I thought.
I went to lunch on my own, and on the way back, walked past a diner. Inside were all five of them laughing and having a great time.
Apparently, they made a new group chat without me in it. Now I’m angry and hurt. I’m sure they’re using it to make fun of me behind my back. And I have no idea why I’ve been cut out of the group.
They have no idea I know. I’m sure they didn’t see me at lunch. How should I deal with this?

Rolling Stones Pull Off the Sunday Double
The Rolling Stones
The Stones weren’t messing around on this particular Sunday—they squeezed in two gigs across London, kicking things off with their regular afternoon slot at Studio 51 before heading out to Richmond for an evening show at the Crawdaddy Club. This kind of hustle was pretty typical for a band still clawing their way up the ladder, but imagine the energy you’d need to pull that off today. Those guys were building their empire one packed room at a time.
