Opportunity
Content creators have a rare opportunity to create a dialogue and spark discussions. Take it.
Radio used to be one-way communication. Not anymore. You can start a conversation and watch it explode across social media. You can pose a question and get 500 responses. You can share an opinion and ignite a debate. Don’t just broadcast. Engage. The magic happens in the back-and-forth.
Besides the coaching tip of the day my daily prep also includes headlines making the news that day, essential pop culture updates, a topic of the day and a situation to use as phone topics, an impossible question, ten trivia questions, three hot takes, celebrity birthdays, horoscopes, today in history and today in music history. All curated with care and powered by Radio Content Pro.

The Situation
I’m a single dad who could really use some advice.
My 17-year-old daughter is a great student and generally is a good kid. She’s about to go into her senior year in high school and has stayed out of trouble until recently.
She and her best friend have been hanging out a lot recently with a guy who graduated last year and is going to college this fall.
Last night, I got a message from my daughter’s phone with a photo of a topless girl. Just a boob shot. There was no face or anything identifiable.
She wrote a message to the guy. I immediately called and told her to come home. She swears the picture was from the internet and her friend had sent it to the guy as a joke. And when she sent it to Dan, it went to Dad instead.
Now I don’t know what to believe. If she’s telling me the truth, I am still disappointed in her. But if it’s true, it could just be harmless. I don’t want to overreact and I do want to believe her. But if it’s not true, there could be a real problem here and I need to take action. What should I do?

Mars Gets a Moon Named Phobos
I love this one because it’s a great reminder that even in the 1800s, we were still discovering new things about our solar system. Astronomer Asaph Hall spotted Phobos, one of Mars’s two moons, on this day. Fun fact: Phobos is so close to Mars that it actually circles the planet three times a day—talk about a speedy moon.

The Doors sign with Elektra, but censor a classic
The Doors
On this day in 1966, The Doors inked a deal with Elektra Records for seven albums, but there was a catch: they had to clean up ‘Break On Through’ for radio. The line ‘She gets high’ became ‘She gets’ — apparently, radio wasn’t ready for that kind of elevation in the sixties. Funny, they’d still get plenty of people high on their music anyway.
