Out of this week's data here are a few of the songs that topped those lists nationally in the US and Canada along with a few random specific markets. The United States, Hot AC/Top 40: Taylor Swift "The Fate of Ophelia" (Overall #1).
After a round of layoffs last November, so far this year most of the cuts at iHeart have been isolated to individual markets. Today, however, multiple outlets are reporting another large round of cuts across iHeart have begun that include some big names and are expected to continue over the coming days. 
Last Friday Taylor Swift released her 'Life of a Showgirl’ album. By Monday morning it was clear the album had been well received to say the least. Not just in pop, but overall, Taylor had the top 12 highest streamed songs over that three-day period. Once again Taylor proved why all of radio should get out of their old habit of only adding one new song by an artist at a time. But, what other radio lessons can Taylor teach us?
