Multiple outlets are reporting deep cuts across iHeart including some big names. The move appears to be part of their ongoing corporate restructuring to create a more regionalized management structure, with regional market managers and a national programming team handling the majority of daily operations.
Today’s cuts include Raleigh Market President Michael Burger and APD/afternoon host at Country B93.9 WNCB Nick Jordan, Philadelphia Alt 104.5 WRFF PD Mike Kaplan, Tampa News Talk WFLA & Sports WDAE PD John Mamola, Boston Classic Rock 100.7 WZLX The Rich Shertenlieb Show, Salt Lake City CHR 97.1 KZHT morning host Eric E. White (who spent his entire career with the company), Washington DC Classic Rock WBIG-FM morning host Paul Jaxon and many others.
