What You’ll Do:

  • Act as lead on assigned accounts which includes establishing/nurturing key relationships at client and agency and setting strategy and leading efforts for internal team (sales counterparts and marketing).
  • Develop understanding of Client and Agency business priorities in order to drive revenue across the iHeart enterprise against your book of business. Opportunity to develop those identified as emerging accounts as well.
  • Evangelize audio with Client and Agency partners and work with iHeart Sales and Marketing leadership to optimize our approach based on client feedback and your perspective.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Research and Planning teams in the development of proposals and bespoke programs (proactively and in response to RFPs).
  • Engage clients in relation to industry events (CES, SXSW, Cannes, POSSIBLE, etc.) to set executive meetings and collaborate on event opportunities.
  • Maintain close, collaborative relationship with iHeart Client Success/Account Management teams assigned to your programs, maintaining contact and oversight throughout execution and optimization
  • Coordinate with iHeartMedia divisional Sales contacts as needed in shaping, revising and sell-through of proposals
  • Formulate and maintain Client Account Strategy Plans aimed at growing revenue specific to your accounts; maintain tracking via Salesforce

What You’ll Need:

  • 10+ years in media/advertising/sales, leading and designing strategy and driving measurable results with client and agency partners across all levels
  • Accomplished collaborator who has expertly navigated matrixed organizations, demonstrating an understanding of how to balance strategic execution with being hands-on and on-the-ground
  • Able to quickly build rapport and maintain long-term business relationships by building trust with honesty and sound judgment
  • Ability to interpret and action marketing analytics and insights, selling cross-platform programs
  • Self-motivation with demonstrated success in managing a book of business to achieve results and contribute to the team’s growth and collective mission
  • Strong analytical skills with a strong foundation of data and communicating the benefits of marketing opportunities to brands
  • Highly adaptable to change and ability to navigate the “grey areas” of the evolving media landscape
  • Experience working with remote Sales leadership
  • Self-awareness and humility with a sense of curiosity and desire to learn

What You’ll Bring:

  • Specialized knowledge of the media industry and related sales processes
  • Ability to apply expertise in a complex sales environment to service large and/or national accounts
  • Experience to anticipate customer needs based on advanced business knowledge and in depth understanding of customer’s strategy
  • Ease counseling and negotiating with senior executives
  • Desire to stay abreast of emerging market trends and customer needs to expand relationships and trust
  • Ability to guide others to solve complex problems using sophisticated analytical thought to identify innovating sales solutions
  • Team leadership experience and/or a desire to act as a role model or mentor to develop others

Compensation:

Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data.

$160,000 – $200,000
