Job Title: Technical Support Engineer

Location: Irving, TX

Position Type: Part Time/Full Time

Duties include:

* Monitoring Master Control of Networks

* Task oriented with an ability to effectively communicate to customers.

* Knowledge of computers, networking, broadcast equipment, with experience in the following audio distribution systems from a user perspective; streaming encoders, RDS, broadcast automation, XDS or similar satellite delivery, FTP, auto-ingest file delivery systems for radio.

* Knowledge of simple audio pathing and ability understand and follow a technical step by step plan.

* Assemble hardware components, sub-assemblies, and final products according to schematic drawings, diagrams, and work instructions.

* Inspect components and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Report any discrepancies or defects to the supervisor.

* Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Skills Needed: 

* In-depth understanding of the distribution process.

* Effective organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage time

* Dedicated and driven work ethic

* Self-starter, with the ability to take and follow direction but also work independently

* Adobe Audition (audio editing), WavePad, Microsoft Word, WordPress, News Boss (preferred)

* Must Have a Team First Attitude with ability to work efficiently under pressure with a willingness to learn quickly and be flexible in nature of assignments

* Experience working in a radio station as a program director or operations manager helpful. Must have the ability to communicate with others and explain basic technical processes used in broadcast radio.
