Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

•  Contribute in an on-air role to The midday shift on 93.7 The Fan
•  Contribute content – including but not limited to audio, video and written format – to 937thefan.com
•  Creating original content and performing live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative
•  Use social media – including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram – during the course of your shift to connect with listeners, promote upcoming stories and interviews, and to highlight station content
•  Make station appearances as required
•  Work with sales and promotions departments to develop sponsored sports opportunities.
•  Other duties as required by management.

Required & Preferred

•  An excellent communicator with strong creative skills
•  Knowledge of studio audio equipment necessary for on-air execution
•  Knowledge of the format and audience required
•  Candidates should have previous radio experience and success or equivalent experience in a related sports profession
•  Possess personality and the ability to drive strong opinions in an entertaining and information fashion
