What You’ll Do:

• Anchor national newscasts for top and bottom of the hour.
• Provide newscasts for multiple local markets as needed.
• Write clear, concise news copy.
• Produce, edit and write content for 24/7 Newswire.
• Gather audio from press conferences, live events and partner TV stations.
• Produce short-form reports (voicers/wraps) for anchors on the following shift.
• May be called on to anchor breaking news reports as needed.
• This person will also perform in-house reporting duties, produce content for national wire service and take on general newsroom assignments.

What You’ll Need:

• Extensive “on-air” background; this is not an entry level role.
• Proficient in media production and broadcast systems.
• Ability to plan and organize, set priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Candidates should have high standards for audio quality, strong on-air presentation skills and the ability to write radio broadcast style copy.
