Going against the grain of the overnight Tik Tok successes, November Blue brings back the professionalism, hard work and dedication it takes to make it in Nashville. This six-piece band started back in 2014 and has history of writing and musicianship most producers dream of.
Tom Currey and Dylan Lindemuth met in college where they started a duo. Covering songs such as Rolling Stones’ “Wild Horses,” they found themselves doing covers in atmospheres such as the Sofa Sessions. Shortly after this, Currey and Lindemuth released their first album as a duo in 2017. Still based out of Pittsburgh, the duo knew they needed to add additional members. In 2018 John Wilcox, Brodie Holifield, and Dean Maddox joined the team creating a more solid and thicker sound. Steel guitarist Alex Barcic completed the band soon after making this a 6 pack.
In 2019 the band relocated to Nashville, knowing they’d have a better opportunity to find a producer who would work with them on the sound they wanted to create. Incredible decision because as soon as Grammy winning producer, Michael Omartian, helped refine their sound.
Bringing back the southern rock sound of the ’60s and ’70s, November Blue has consistently delivered a solid sound to crowds across the country. Below is their latest single, “Bring Back the Band.”
