Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Contributing to multi-platform content such as ideas, bits, audio and interview questions.
• Preparing and creating a topical show by gathering information from online, apps, TV, RSS feeds and social media.
• Using social media strategically to drive occasions of listening.
• Ensuring that personal appearance is always camera ready.
• Participating and preparing for interviews of guests, musical or other famous or public personalities or trending topic owners.
• Being informed of all Hip-Hop/Pop culture breaking news.
• Answering phone lines and interviewing members of listening audience.
• Airing contest according to the specifications of the Program Director.
• Attending live, in-person appearances as scheduled by the station or requested by clients.
• Maintaining and building a positive cooperative attitude within the station and a strong personal community involvement.
• Following and enforcing FCC regulations, station and company policies, including implementing station’s/state’s EAS procedures.
• Performing other job-related duties as required.

Candidates must possess the following qualifications, skills, and abilities:

• Chemistry with the other cast members.
• Outstanding at dealing with sales department and clients.
• Great collaborator.
• Possess both audio and video editing skills and shooting video and gathering audio ability.
• The ability to put a unique/fresh spin on original content.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Basic knowledge of studio equipment and computers.
• Must have excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills and be computer literate with essential social media experience.
• An excellent understanding of the mainstream nature of the Los Angeles community and its influence on all elements of pop culture and Hip-Hop lifestyle is required.
• Social media savvy (i.e., Instagram, TikTok, etc.) with blogging experience.
• Must be willing to work from the studio in Burbank, CA.
• A valid driver’s license and state-mandated automobile insurance are required.
