Position Overview:

In this role, you’ll host a live weekday radio show with a focus on local content, connecting with our community through news, music, and conversation. You will also voice track a show on our sister station and collaborate with our sales team to write and produce commercials that help our clients succeed. This is an in-person, on-site role, so relocation within 20 miles of the station is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Live On-Air Hosting: Engage listeners with a daily live radio show that emphasizes local news, stories, and events.
Voice Tracking: Record and produce content for an additional show on our sister station.
Script Writing & Commercial Production: Work with the sales team to create compelling advertisements and promotional content tailored to client needs.
Attention to Detail: Ensure high-quality production and timely delivery of all projects.
Management Opportunities: For the right individual, there are growth opportunities into management roles.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of on-air and production experience is required. Experience with sports play-by-play and/or video production is a plus.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for engaging with our audience and delivering clear, compelling content.
Community Focus: A love for small towns and a commitment to being a positive, active member of the community.
Reliability & Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards.
