Andy Meadows (Chief Editor)

Texas based radio consultant and author Andy Meadows has been in radio for literally his entire life. He grew up in a small market radio station his family owned in the Texas Hill Country. Later Meadows spent sixteen years at LKCM Radio Group in DFW, the final thirteen as the group’s Operations Director and Digital Director growing some of the highest digital stats in the country. In 2019 he left to start his own consulting company with the goal of helping groups transition into the digital age of radio. Today Andy is the President and Founder of Radio Station Consultants where he consults radio stations across the country on programming, digital, operations and sales. In May of 2022, Andy partnered with Radio Resources to head up their new consulting division, giving him access to resources that allow him to help every department within a radio station. In March of 2024 he helped launch Radio Update as their editor-in-chief.

Stephanie Blue (Staff Writer)

I have worked in radio for the past 19 years. I started as part of the promo team, and within a few months I landed the morning show. I wanted to learn as much as possible, so I was part of the commercial traffic team, hosted a morning show that went #1, did a midday shift, and tracked a night shift in my first year, within the same company.I’ve had number one shows in multiple states, in various dayparts. I loved being the Production Director for a few companies; writing, recording, and producing content. Within that, I’ve written and produced commercials for Pandora as well. Within my most recent company, I was a Social Media Manager along with my morning show and production duties. I was tasked to create compelling content for local businesses. I’ve worn many hats and learned as much as I can within my radio career. I’ve had some crazy experiences along the way! I’m excited to share what I’ve learned, and my creativity with everyone.
