Ava Hart’s Coaching Tip: Seek Feedback

Growth requires uncomfortable conversations. The more you seek difficult feedback, the greater your reward. Here’s what I learned the hard way: the people who love you won’t tell you the truth, and the people who don’t matter will tear you apart. What you need is someone who cares about your success enough to tell you what’s not working. Find that person. Beg them for real feedback.

Not ‘great show today!’—actual critique. ‘This segment dragged.’ ‘This topic didn’t land.’ That stings. But that’s gold. The personalities who breakthrough are the ones who hunt for hard truths.

Besides the coaching tip of the day my daily prep also includes headlines making the news that day, essential pop culture updates, a topic of the day and a situation to use as phone topics, an impossible question, ten trivia questions, three hot takes, celebrity birthdays, horoscopes, today in history and today in music history. All curated with care and powered by Radio Content Pro.

Here are a few examples from today, October 20, 2026.

Kenneth Walker III (2000, age 26) – Seattle’s running back who won the Doak Walker Award at Michigan State before bringing his one-cut explosiveness to the NFL. When he hits the hole, the hole is generally all he has time to see.

Daily Horoscopes – October 20

♈ Aries (March 21 – April 19)

There’s a fine line between wanting things just right and driving everyone around you up a wall about it. Aries, check the intensity dial today — if you’re wound up tight, let a friend talk you down. Constant stress isn’t a personality, and it definitely doesn’t read as ambition.

Senate Signs Off on the Louisiana Purchase

The Senate ratified the Louisiana Purchase, and overnight the country roughly doubled in size. For about fifteen million dollars, the young nation picked up a massive chunk of land from France. I’ve always thought it’s the best real estate deal in American history, and it still holds up.

Today In Music History – October 20

A Teenage Elvis Opens for the Establishment

Elvis Presley was buried at the bottom of the bill in Cleveland, opening a tour for Bill Haley while ‘Rock Around the Clock’ was still sitting pretty at No. 1. The two acts got close over those two weeks, riding in Bill’s car between shows and talking guitars and the future. Haley remembered that what Elvis wanted most in the world was to buy his mother a Cadillac — which, spoiler, he eventually did. Nothing says up-and-coming quite like sharing a back seat while the headliner drives.
