How Long Should It Be
How long do you need? All content should be as short as it can be, but no shorter. As long as it needs to be, but no longer. The key is to avoid wasting the audience’s time.
There’s no magic number. Some stories need 30 seconds. Some need 4 minutes. The question isn’t ‘how long should this be?’ It’s ‘does every sentence earn its place?’ If you can cut it without losing value, cut it. If cutting it weakens the story, keep it. Trust your instincts.

Ceasefire Takes Effect as Israel and Lebanon Leaders Head to White House
After days of fierce fighting, the leaders of Israel and Lebanon have agreed to a 10-day ceasefire. President Trump said he will be inviting the Israeli and Lebanese presidents to the White House for talks, the first meaningful dialogue between the two countries since 1983. The temporary truce began at 5 p.m. ET on Thursday, giving both sides a chance to regroup before potentially reigniting hostilities. However, Trump is hopeful this could be the start of a more lasting peace process between the longtime rivals.

The Situation
I have been divorced for four years and have primary custody of my 9-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son. The last two years, we have been reading about Europe, learning the culture, customs, and foods. Shortly after we started this project, I started putting money away for us to take a trip. I have had the itinerary set for some time and knew exactly how much money I needed for my kids and me to go. The moment I hit my mark, I let my kids know. Their reaction was priceless, and I was ecstatic until they asked if their father was going to go. I let them know that it would just be us, and they got upset and asked why we couldn’t do this trip as a family. What they don’t get is that we are not a family. Their father cheated on me and has spent most of his time these last four years spending all of his money on random women. My kids see their dad maybe once a month, and he seems fine with that. Behind my back, my son texted his father, who said he would love to join us. I called my ex and told him he wasn’t invited. He said I was being selfish and a terrible mom to deprive his children the opportunity to make a beautiful memory with their father. He said he would pay his own way, so there shouldn’t be an issue. I am so upset, because this was to be our thing. Delving into our stories about Europe was a therapeutic way for me to put our broken marriage behind us, and now my remedy is going to be the source of new pain. Am I a jerk if I don’t give in to my kids and husband and take the trip without him? Either way, I’m afraid the trip is already ruined.

The Album That Brought Folk to the Masses
Bob Dylan
Back in ’65, ol’ Bob Dylan hit it big with his second album ‘The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan’ reaching #1 in the UK. It featured the era-defining anthem ‘Blowin’ in the Wind’ – a tune that put folk music on the map and became a rallying cry for the 60s counterculture. Not bad for a skinny kid from Minnesota with a guitar and a fistful of dreams, am I right?
