Seeking Feedback
The greatest performers know that a key to their success is seeking and accepting feedback. Take the time.
Feedback is the breakfast of champions. The best in the world actively hunt for it. They ASK for critique. They PAY for coaching. They WANT to know what they’re missing. Mediocre performers avoid feedback because they’re scared of what they’ll hear. Great performers chase it because they know it’s the fastest path to excellence.
Besides the coaching tip of the day my daily prep also includes headlines making the news that day, essential pop culture updates, a topic of the day and a situation to use as phone topics, an impossible question, ten trivia questions, three hot takes, celebrity birthdays, horoscopes, today in history and today in music history. Iran, U.S. Agree to Conditional Ceasefire After Tense Standoff
After weeks of escalating tensions and the threat of all-out war, Iran and the U.S. have reached a conditional ceasefire agreement. The deal will allow shipping traffic to resume through the vital Strait of Hormuz for the next two weeks, as mediators work to hammer out a longer-term solution. President Trump had issued a “final ultimatum” to Iran, threatening massive attacks on civilian infrastructure if the strait wasn’t reopened by Tuesday night. But in a surprise turn, the countries have pulled back from the brink – for now.

Topic of the Day
Topic 1: What’s the pettiest reason you’ve ever fought with your significant other?
The Situation
I bought a house last year and love it. It’s kind of small but just right for me. And my girlfriend. She moved in with me in October. That was going well.
Then around Thanksgiving, she wanted to adopt a pet from a shelter. No problem, I said. But the dog she got wasn’t a little lap dog. It’s a golden retriever mixed with a lab and something else. Not sure what.
So that was all good.
Then this happened. At Christmas dinner, my brother told me he is moving back to town. He was on a job assignment that ended. And now he’s coming back with nowhere to stay. And no income. So he asked if he could move in with us for a few weeks until he gets settled. And he asked at Christmas dinner. I really couldn’t say no, right?
I hate everything about it. My perfect house isn’t big enough for all of us. My girlfriend and I are getting along great and I don’t want a third person in the house. And my brother is kind of a womanizer. I don’t really trust him around my girlfriend.
But am I being selfish? He says it’s only for a short time until he finds his own place. But a little while has a tendency to stretch much longer sometimes.
So what do I do? How do I navigate this?

UK’s First Eurovision Queen: Sandie Shaw Takes the Crown
On this day in 1967, Britain’s own Sandie Shaw won the Eurovision Song Contest with her song ‘Puppet On A String.’ As the first UK female artist to ever take the Eurovision title, Sandie pulled off a real coup. I can just imagine the pride in the BBC studios that night – finally, the Brits had a Eurovision queen! Not bad for a 19-year-old with bare feet on stage. Sandie showed the continent that the UK knew a thing or two about catchy pop tunes.
